Hush, bowbeams tucked in lullabys
Born spiraled-bursts of thunder crash
Prism specks of wonder lies
'Neath the hollyhocks
Fear not the night-stomp, Ergway, lost
Who shatters hope where dreams begin
Fear not despair so wrongly toss'd
Time forward reigned him in!
She came in robes of worn embrace
A gatherscoop on story wings
To right the world of hopeful sleep
And free untroubled things.
And as she touched the restless night
The Ergway blundered near
His sobbing, sniffling frantic fright
Breathed forth winds of fear.
"Sweet child! Sweet child! So scared and wild
It's time to end this roam!
Bear! Hold him near and calm his fear,
Dog, lead him safely home."
Hope-spreading Sparkles of the night
Reign safe and reign Supreme!
Kaleidoscopic wonder thoughts
Give life to morning's dreams
Hush, bowbeams tucked in lullabies
Born spiraled-bursts of thundercrash
Oh rainbow bits of wonder sighs
'Neath summer's hollyhocks.
